May 11, 2026: Visiting the Cheon Jeong Gung
Written by: Mi Hye Baklanov
On May 11th, the Next Gen Mission missionaries had the opportunity to visit the Cheon Jeong Gung and reflect deeply on the past workshop and Korean pilgrimage!
Starting the morning strong, the missionaries began their day with Hoon Dok Hae, followed by serious devotion through Chanyang. Next, they received guidance on how to reflect more meaningfully–not simply recalling events, but identifying key moments, internalizing experiences, separating struggles from victories, and recognizing God’s guidance throughout Korea and the Rooted Workshop. They were encouraged to think about what they wanted to let go of and offer to God, and what they wanted to carry forward into their next mission. The missionaries focused on reflecting sincerely from the morning until lunchtime.
Afterward, the missionaries had the privilege of writing a short letter to True Mother, sharing honest experiences, gratitude, and new determinations. They were recommended to write from their hearts, instead of trying to sound perfect. Following the internal reflections, missionaries and members alike gathered for lunch together, enjoying time to connect with one another before the next big event of the day…
In the afternoon, the missionaries visited the Cheon Jeong Gung! For many, it was their very first time experiencing True Parents’ home, making it a truly memorable and emotional opportunity. During the tour, they learned about the intricate meaning and heart invested into every detail of the Cheon Jeong Gung. The missionaries explored the museum, artwork, statues, and precious artifacts preserved by True Parents and members internationally. Alongside the guided tour, they also had personal time to walk around, pray, reflect, and deepen their connection with our Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
Following the visit, the missionaries had free time to reflect, study, or pray before dinner. Next, they concluded the evening with another session of chanyang and then a testimony night! Many missionaries shared heartfelt experiences from both the Korean Pilgrimage and Rooted Workshop.
To close the night, several first, second, and third-generation members offered performances showcasing their talents. One group performed a skit showing an important lesson from yesterday: to love others unconditionally, especially through struggles. It was truly a reminder of the unconditional love that each Pure Water can bring hope to the world through the love of our Heavenly Parent and True Parents!
